Karen Lynne Edwards, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 18, 2026.
Karen was born May 17, 1961, in Emmitsburg, Palo Alto County, Iowa, to Howard L. and Yvonne Frombach Decker. She graduated from Mishicot High School with the Class of 1980. She then enlisted in the US Army.
Karen married Jeffrey Lee Edwards, Sr. on September 1, 1988, at Bel Air, MD. They were married 29 years.
Karen is survived by her son Jeffery Lee Edwards, Jr., Rose Hill, NC, and her daughter Tricia Yvonne (Darian) Harris, Richlands, NC., and her grandchildren Nathan Lee Edwards and Karlie Rose Harris; her siblings, Debbie Terrill, Rising Sun, MD, Randy (Lori) Decker, Dadeville, AL, Ronda (Kevin) Myren, Ladysmith, WI, Linda (Fran) Tomczuk, Fishers, IN, Billie Jo (Mark) Maedke, Two Rivers, WI, Charlie (Theresa) Neville, Brillion, WI, Ricky (Misty) Decker, Two Rivers, WI and Dale (April) Decker, Two Rivers, WI; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; Uncle Garry (Valerie) Kline, Mesa, AZ, Aunt Grace Lafrentz, Galva, IA, John (Mort) Christianson, Bode, IA and many cousins.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Howard L. Decker, Yvonne Decker and Patricia Decker; sister Debbie Cadle; grandson Austin Edwards; nieces Cassie Stout, Brandy Myren, Dawn Satterfield; nephew George Terrill, Jr.; brother-in-law George aka Terry Terrill; grandparents, William and Hazel Decker, Harry Kline, Ruth Kline, Walter Miles, and Josie Miles; numerous aunts and uncles.
Karen cherished her family and was always so excited to get together for every opportunity. Her kryptonite was loving on all the babies and nieces and nephews. She spent A LOT of her time holding and rocking them and playing with them. Her heart was full of love for every one of us. She made strangers into friends. She excelled at cherishing lives and relationships over possessions. If you were blessed to know her, you were blessed.
Despite her extensive health issues, she fought hard to overcome the many challenges she faced. She was a pint-sized pistol in a world full of Gatlin guns.
Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Crematory Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Karen on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Two Rivers Community House, 1710 W. Park St., in the Behringer Room at 1:00PM.
