Karen Kollath Leifer, age 74, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Sharon Richardson Community Hospice.

Karen was born on November 30, 1948 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Elaine (Stastny) Kollath. Karen was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1967. She attended Silver Lake College. Karen had a passion for sales and marketing, and throughout her life held various sales positions. She enjoyed being involved in church activities.  On February 14, 2000 she married Randy Leifer at First Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son, Eric (Angela) Siebert; one granddaughter Kailey(Ian); one grandson, Ethan; one great grandchild Evelyn; one niece Jennifer Behnke Montano (Ryan); one nephew Justin Behnke;  special friend Steve Saindon. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her sister Cindy Kollath Horton and her Aunt Shirley Schuette.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 2201 S. 42nd St., Manitowoc on Friday March 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jeremy Vance will be officiating. Friends and family may call at Faith Church on Friday from 10am until the time of the service. Cremation has taken place at Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
