Katherine "Kathy" Eleanor Gibble, age 91, was escorted by angels to Heaven on Sunday, October 18, 2020.  She resided at Shady Lane Nursing Center, Manitowoc.

Kathy was born September 15, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA.  She was the daughter of the late Paul R. Fick and Edna Mae (Reinert) Fick. Kathy was married in 1948 to George R. Fix and together raised three children. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2015.  Kathy married Marlin Gibble in 1979 who preceded her in death on July 14, 1994.  With their marriage, an additional two sons and three daughters were added to the family.

Kathy was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Orlando, FL and attended Crossroads Church in Manitowoc. She served the Lord in her community and in her church in Orlando.  Kathy was a foster grandparent, a volunteer for "Give Kids the World" in Orlando and served with the Osceola Aging and Resource Center. She loved spending time with her family, playing Bingo, shopping, crocheting, cruising the Caribbean, traveling in their motor home, cooking and cuddling with her beloved poodle "Princess She-She."   Kathy will be remembered for her giving heart, compassion for others and her sassiness. Most of all, she loved and served the Lord!

Survivors include Kathy's two sons and one daughter, George R. Fix III and Lynn Fix, Laureldale, PA; Darryl and Jill Fix, Kempton, PA; and Cynthia and Terry Rhodes, Manitowoc, WI; two stepsons, Ronald (Carol) Gibble, Lancaster, PA ; Gary Gibble, Lake City, FL; three stepdaughters, Sandra (Leonard) Helder, Orlando, Florida;  Janice (Calvin) Heilman, Orlando, FL; Diane Gibble and Ben Ackley, Independence , KY;  19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, friends. Kathy was preceded in death by a step daughter, four brothers and two sisters, four sisters-in-laws and two brothers-in-law: Donna Lerch; Paul (Sarah) Fick;  Robert (Victoria) Fick;  Esther (Calvin) Bonawitz;  Howard (Arlene) Fick;  Melvin (Edith) Fick and Edna Jane (Donald) Bickel.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at South Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA 17042 with Rev. Charlie Ilyes will officiating.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of Kathy's cremated remains to be held Lebanon Community Church Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
