Katherine A. Wimmer passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on July 27, 2025, at age 78. Kathy was born on January 11, 1947, to Marie (Jacoboski) and Leonard Pikulik in Manitowoc. She graduated from Lincoln High School. On February 25, 1967, Kathy married Kenneth Wimmer at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 46 years and retired from Felician Village in 2009. Kathy enjoyed traveling with Ken and her family, reading, playing along with the contestants on the Game Show Network, and doing puzzles, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Kathy was the beloved wife of Kenneth for 58 years; loving mother of Jenny (Jen Peeples) Lehman, Andy (Kim) Wimmer, Nikki (fiancé Zac Smith) Koenig, Tim (Pam) Wimmer, and Terri (the late Tim) Schultz; proud grandmother of Alex, Kenzle, Ryker, Chris, Matthew, and Ben; dear sister of Patti (Bill) Boeckman; and sister-in-law of Ken Riebe, Ray (Kathy) Wimmer, Diann (Alan Kane) Wimmer, and Lynn Wimmer. She is also loved by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Ray and Connie Wimmer, infant daughter Sarah, son-in-law Tim Schultz, sister Ceil Riebe, and brother-in-law Marvin Wimmer.

Cremation has taken place at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home Crematory Chapel. Relatives and friends may greet the family at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, 2109 Marshall St., Manitowoc, on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Entombment of the urn will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date.
