I walked THROUGH the valley of death with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and entered heaven's gate on April 18, 2026. I was the only daughter of Russell A. and Mildred (Schumacher) Young. I was preceded in death by my beloved friend and husband, John E. Harley, Jr., grandson of the co-founder of Harley-Davidson, my parents, Mildred and Russell Young and my older brother, Raymond Young (Lucille). I leave behind my dear son, William R. Harley and his lovely wife, Jennifer and grandchildren, Lliam, Livia and Leandra, the twinkle in my life and the stars in my sky. I was also lucky enough to be step-mother to John E. Harley, III (Rhonda) and grandchildren Nikki, Maddie, Katie and Johnathan. I am survived by my younger brother, Michael J. Young (Mary), my sister-in-law, Lucille Young and many nieces and nephews. I was employed by Acme Chemical, Lakeside Laboratories and for 42-1/2 years by Harley-Davidson Motor Co. I was an active member in my church, enjoyed working outdoors, bird watching, loved animals of all kinds, our donkeys, pony and especially all our dogs, reading, sewing and swinging a hammer on occasion.
