Kathrine S. Lahaie, age 96, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

Kathrine was born on January 27, 1925 in Manitowoc.  She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Lily Linenberg Sickles.  Kathrine was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1942.  She had been employed at various businesses in Manitowoc but in more recent years with Northern Labs for 20 years from where she retired in 1988.  Kathrine was a life long member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church and a long-time member of First German Ladies Aid.  She also was a member of the Organization for Wisconsin Lutheran Seniors.

She is survived by five daughters, Lynn Senovich, Manitowoc, Lori (David) Schipper, Holmen, Kim Lahaie Day, Orange Park, FL, Jill Schrimpf, Manitowoc, Kerry (Larry) Gustin, Oshkosh; one step daughter, Carol (Rod) Regeth, Kimberly; six grandchildren, three step granddaughters, six great grandchildren, special nephew, Don Nelson, AZ; special friend, Linda Jachimstal, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lily Sickles, three sisters, Louise Nelson, Ruth Ann Dahme, and Marie Lippert; one son-in-law, David Schrimpf; one grandson, Timothy Day; one step grandson, Jeremy Gustin; and former spouse, Robert Lahaie.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8 ^th Street, Manitowoc.  Officiating will be Rev. Mark Johnston with burial to take place at Knollwood Cemetery.  Relative and friends may call at First German Ev. Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.  Following the funeral services a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water St., Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
