Kathryn "Kate" F. Lambries, age 97, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.

Kate was born on February 11, 1927 in Valders to the late Cyril and Helen (Gintner) Marlborough.  She graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1945.  On August 20, 1949, Kate married Lawrence E. Lambries at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarks Mills.  He preceded her in death on February 2, 1987.  While Kate was primarily a homemaker, she had also worked at Nestle Milk Company.  She enjoyed spending her time doing crafts, and playing sheepshead and bingo.  Kate volunteered at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, the Manitowoc Chamber of Commerce, Manitowoc Visitor Information Center, and the Badger Car Ferry.  She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

Survivors include Kate's four children, Larry (Rita) Lambries, Two Rivers; Tom Lambries, Manitowoc; Terry (Robin) Lambries, Bahama, NC; and Kathy (Mark) Luchsinger, Manitowoc; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Carole (Roger) Schamburek, Manitowoc; also other relatives and friends.  Kate was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Helen Marlborough; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lawrence D. and Cecilia Lambries; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Delores "Odie" (Jim) Kautzer; Mary (Chester) Vogel; and Madge (Dave) Burich; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James (Anna Mae) Marlborough and Donald (J'Ette) Marlborough; two nephews, Jimmy Marlborough and Jack Vogel, and niece, Susan Jahn.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc.  Rev. Jason Blahnik will officiate with burial to take place at Calvary Cemetery.  A luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
