Kathy Ann Sadowski, age 60, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Friday, June 16, 2023 while surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Kathy was born July 8, 1962 to Darlene (Wachowski) Kalista and the late Eugene Kalista.  She graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc WI with the class of 1980, she attended LTC to obtain her Associate Degree in Accounting in 1982 and continued on to receive her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Business Administration graduating Summa Cum Lade from Lakeland College in 1988.  Kathy held many positions from Corporate Accounting Manager to Plant Controller at M-B Companies, Aitken & Reed, Eggers Industries, Red Arrow Products Company, and Sartori Cheese.  The highlight of her career was the 18 years she spent at Red Arrow Products and the lifelong friendships that came along with all the hard-working days. Kathy retired from the corporate world in November of 2020.  Realizing she loved to work, she took on a part-time role with a small Accounting & Tax service, Kathy is very thankful for the opportunity to work with small businesses, for the friendships, the compassion and love during her time there.

On April 15, 1989, Kathy married Steve and enjoyed 34 years of marriage together.  They raised two amazing children who married loving people and blessed them with identical twin grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter.  As Steve would say, our greatest accomplishment in life is the way we raised our thoughtful, caring and compassionate children.  Kathy and Steve loved to travel and enjoyed time with family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband, Steve; son, Justin (Sara) Sadowski, Winneconne; and daughter, Miranda (Ryan) Feldman, Oshkosh; three beloved grandchildren, Jackson & Grayson Sadowski, and Remington Feldman.  Kathy is also survived by her mother, Darlene Kalista; three sisters, Mary Wadman, Vickie Kalista, and Julie (Mark) Schleis; brother, William; three brothers-in-law, Scott Sadowski, Shawn (Naomi) Sadowski, and Stacy Sadowski, and sister-in-law, Lynn Kalista; also nieces, nephews and cousins, along with many special friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Kalista; brother, Jeffrey Kalista; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Simon and Gertrude Sadowski; also grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Immediately following the service, a celebration of Kathy's life will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Cremation will take place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel at a later date.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 6:45 p.m.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
