Kean Klaus Leiker, 73 died April 30th 2017 at the Manitowoc Health & Rehab Center. He is survived by his younger brother Charles Leiker, his nephews David and Jesse Leiker, along with his Nieces Suzie Schlick, Cindi Erickson and Penny Bauman. Kean was born in Two Rivers on September 24th 1943 and the family later moved to Manitowoc in 1949. He later moved to Anaheim California in 1981 where he worked for the Los Angeles Times. He came back to Manitowoc in 1993 to care for his mother Olive Leiker who passed away in 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents Heribert and Olive Leiker as well as his elder brother Bruce Leiker. Kean was always a very giving person and tried to help those he could. He attended Cornerstone Community Bible Church and helped out at Meals on Wheels and Peter's Pantry as long as he was able. Per Kean's request there will be no funeral service.
