Obituary

Kelly Jo Edlebeck, beloved wife and mother to four children, age 45, of Manitowoc, WI, passed away in the comfort of her home after a long-fought battle with cancer on April 12, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Two Rivers on December 22, 1979, to Jo Ann (Jody) and Thomas Huempfner. Kelly attended Washington High School before attending the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for her undergraduate degree. She went on to receive her Master's degree in nursing from Concordia University. Over her sixteen-year career, she helped countless people through her work as a registered nurse, educator, and primary care provider. Kelly spent her life caring for the well-being of others.

Kelly extended her passion for providing care to her children as a devoted mother to Emma (21), Lily (18), Elias (12), and Giuliana (9), her pride and joy. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided. She made sure that everyone around her knew just how proud she was of all of her children.

Kelly took special joy in helping the kids with school projects, cooking for her family and tending her garden. She had fond memories of attending her daughters' dance performances, going to her son's football games and spending every holiday together with her family.

Kelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Bernice King and Austin and Marvel Huempfner; and her mother, Jo Ann (Jody) Ruth Huempfner, who was her best friend and greatest supporter throughout her life. Survivors include her husband, Brian Edlebeck; four children, Emma Reger, Lily Reger, Elias Edlebeck, and Giuliana Edlebeck; father, Tom Huempfner; and stepfather, Tim Rauch, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
