Ken J. Vogel, age 60, a resident of Chilton, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

Ken was born on July 7, 1952 in Appleton to Kathryn Mortimer Vogel and the late Herbert Vogel. He graduated from Chilton High School with the class of 1970. Ken then obtained an associate degree in accounting. On July 20, 1985, Ken married Patrice Erickson. He was employed as a budget analyst for Tecumseh. Ken enjoyed spending his time being outdoors, hunting and fishing with his friends, and cherished the time he was able to spend with his family.

Survivors include Ken's wife: Pat; mother: Kathryn Vogel, Chilton; two sisters: Lynn Rollman, Oshkosh, and Mary Zirbel, Green Bay; brother: Jim (Marla) Vogel, Brussels; mother-in-law: Dorothy Swensen, Manitowoc; five sisters-in-law: Sherryl Garza, Manitowoc; Shelley (Steve) Schwartz, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Joan Erickson, San Mateo, CA; Kelleen Erickson, Manitowoc; and Tari (Andrew) Miller, Manitowoc; brother-in-law: Jerry Erickson, Orlando, FL; aunt: Alice Kinley, Chilton; special friends Cindi and Donovan; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A life celebration social for all of Ken's family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water Street, Manitowoc on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
