Kendall "Kenny" Melius passed away unexpectedly at home on August 27, 2024, at age 72. He was born on March 26, 1952 in Sheboygan County to Gladys and Clyde Melius. He was a 1970 graduate of Plymouth High School. On May 25, 1991, he married Vicki Wegner at St. John's Lutheran Church in Two Rivers and they went on to raise 3 children. After spending their early years in Iron Mountain, MI, they relocated to Manitowoc where Kenny worked at Eck Industries until he retired. Courtesy of Ancestry DNA, he welcomed his eldest daughter into the family in 2018. Kenny enjoyed hunting, gardening, bird watching, and coin collecting. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vicki; his children Tiffany (Chris Wifler) Ringwell, Aaron Melius, Thomas (Leah) Melius, and Amy (Brandon) Stevenson; grandsons Drew and Bryce Stevenson, and Sage Wifler; granddaughter Marissa (River) Meyer; and baby girl Melius due in November; great-grandson Mason Meyer. Also survived by a brother Terrance (Joanne) Melius; sisters Debra Durben and Brenda Liermann; mother-in-law Mary Ann Wegner; brothers-in-law Steven Wegner and Allan Wegner; nieces Shaun and Ruth Liermann, Jennifer Melius, and Melissa Durben; nephews Dennis and Travis Liermann, Christopher Melius, Brett Durben, and Justin and Matthew Wegner; cousins; relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Gladys Melius, sister Cheryl Melius, father-in-law Harvey Wegner, and sister-in-law Nancy Wegner.
Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Crematory Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at a later date. Family and friends will be contacted with details.
