Kenneth Alan Kolb, age 70, a Plymouth resident, passed away on March 25, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Ken was born September 12, 1954, in Sheboygan, son of Clarence W. and Patricia (McMullin) Kolb.
Ken attended schools in Sheboygan, graduating from South High School with the Class of 1973. Ken's work life was varied including many years as a chef and baker at a number of establishments. Even into his later years, Ken enjoyed cooking for neighbors and friends.
In his free time, Ken enjoyed boating, gardening, flying, cooking, cribbage and road trips. Ken also enjoyed nature and wildlife, especially birdwatching and had many birdfeeders to draw them to his outdoor space. He even had a drone he used to buzz away the squirrels that would be trying to help themselves. St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Pastor Cota and the congregation there were important parts of Ken's life.
Ken is survived by a daughter and granddaughter; his brother Jim (Melody) Kolb; sister: Cheryl (Barry) Kolb-Untinen; and good friend Roy Potter. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Julie Kolb and Debra (Kolb) Zimmerman, and his beloved dog Bear.
Ken chose cremation and no public services will be held.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family.
