Kevin J. Rezachek, age 31, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 13, 2014.

Kevin was born on January 22, 1983 in Two Rivers to Gary Rezachek and Mary Surfus. He graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 2001 and then went on to obtain his marketing degree from LTC. Kevin was a carpenter and was most recently employed with Certified Builders. He enjoyed spending his time discing, taking his brother Tyler's money playing sheepshead, poker, and cribbage, and watching ESPN. Kevin was always very generous and helped others. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends - especially his two nieces, Ayana and Zuri.

Survivors include Kevin's father: Gary Rezachek and his fiancé, Bev Hansen, Manitowoc; mother: Peggy (Brian) Vater, Plymouth; two siblings: Tyler (Megan) Rezachek and Katie Rezachek, all of Plymouth; paternal grandparents: Charles "Charlie" and Nancy "Honey" Rezachek, Suring; maternal grandmother: Merle "Molly" Surfus, Manitowoc; numerous aunts and uncles, relatives and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: James "Jim" Surfus.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Deacon Alan Boeldt officiating. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
