Kim R. York, 62, of Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Manitowoc.

She was born on October 30, 1959 in Duluth, Minnesota, the daughter of Wayne and Lucille (Karger) Schuman.  Kim graduated in 1977 from Central High School in Duluth and then married Terry York on March 18, 1978.  Kim enjoyed painting ceramics, playing Kings Corner and Yahtzee, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Jamie (Suzy) York, Amanda (Mark) Groth, Tara York (Dustin), and Matthew York; grandchildren, Sierra and Kaden Groth, Luna and Kara Buie, and Brady and Sydney York; brother, Chuck (Sonia) Schuman; former husband, Terry York; best friend, Micky Henry; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Schuman; and sister, Cathy Ramm.

A celebration of life and private family burial will be held at a later date.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
