Kirk D. Hershberger, age 51, a resident of Two Rivers, entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Kirk was born on November 28, 1960 in Pennsylvania to the late Jon and Judith Baker Hershberger. Once he graduated from high school, Kirk enlisted in the United States Army as an infantryman for 11 years. After his honorable discharge, he lived in Texas and eventually moved to Wisconsin where he worked several jobs. He was a self employed contractor and was currently employed at Formrite Tubes. Kirk enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his fiancé, Terri Bennett, and her son, Randy Bennett, Two Rivers; daughter: Heather Gerfen, Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Zariah Gerfen, Malakhi Stinyard, Laila Stinyard, Daekwon Gerfen, Ciara Bennett, and Cienna Bennett.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
