Lawrence C. Schnell, age 66, a resident of Newton, entered eternal life on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
Larry was born on September 16, 1950 to the late Leo and Arline Miller Schnell. He attended Valders High School. On June 22, 1974, Larry married Jane Duchow at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Collins. Larry enjoyed spending his time working with wood and leather, and also riding his motorcycle. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include Larry's wife of 42 years: Jane; five children, Wendy Schnell, Sarah McDonell, Kevin Schnell, Justin (Becca) Schnell, and Dawn Schnell; six grandchildren: Delaney, Phoenix, Kathryn, Brayden, Olivia, and Ryder; brother, Ron (Judy) Schnell; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charles (Judy) Duchow, Dennis (Diane) Duchow, and Wayne (Leah) Duchow; also other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 7531 English Lake Road, Manitowoc. Rev. Victor Headrick will officiate with burial to take place at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
