Linda L. Gilbertson

Collins

Linda L. Gilbertson, age 77, a resident of Collins, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at St. Mary’s at Felician Village.

Linda was born on March 11, 1949, in Green Bay, to the late Vernon and Betty (Eichorst) Anderson. Linda attended Valders High School and went on to build a career and family she loved. She worked with Holy Family Home Care and was then the manager of Country Care Assisted Living Facility in Reedsville. Prior to her retirement, she spent many years being the Clerk for the Town of Rockland. On January 7, 1967, Linda married Donald Gilbertson in Maryland. They shared 59 years of love, laughter, adventure, and business. She worked together with Don as the co-owner of Don’s Auto Repair in Collins. One of Linda’s favorite things to do was to go cruising with Don in one of their old cars. She also enjoyed camping, golf cart rides, fishing, and music of all kinds. Above all, her family was her world. She loved spending time with them doing fry outs, playing cards and dice, or just enjoying each other’s company. Linda was the go-to for anything her children needed – anything from serious life advice to ‘how much more seasoning should I put in this soup.’

Linda will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her and her memory will carry on through her loving family.
