Linda S. Jensen, age 61, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her home
She was born on March 15, 1957 in Ashland, daughter of Vila (Heffner) and the late Roland Mashl. Linda was a graduate of Denmark High School with the class of 1975. She then attended Lakeshore Technical College where she earned the first of many Associates Degrees and Certificates. On June 26, 1976, Linda married Walter Jensen at Preble Park Presbyterian Church in Green Bay. Linda was employed as a front desk clerk and auditor at Lighthouse Inn in Two Rivers for 17 years until November of 2017. She was also employed as a cashier at Wal-Mart for the past 20 years. Linda loved her grandchildren and great-grandson. She enjoyed cross stitching and made blankets for each of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also like to put jigsaw puzzles together and looked forward to playing cards with her mother. Most of all, Linda enjoyed spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband: Walter Jensen, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law: Michelle and Kevin Braun & Theresa and William Persick, all of Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Katey, Alex, Zachary, Chelsea, Christian, Elly; one great-grandson: Zachary and one more arriving later in May: Haiden; her mother: Vila Mashl; three brothers and four sisters-in-law: Bob and Cheryl Kallerud, Green Bay, Eric and Andria Mashl, Maine, Darren and Susan Mashl, Green Bay; Gay Mashl, Denmark and one brother-in-law: Lester Jaeger, Green Bay; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dave and Rosie Jensen, Mary and Phillip Franz, April and Dan Kocken, Larry Jensen, Barb and Jerry Swift. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her father: Roland Mashl; one sister: Debbie Jaeger and one brother: Kevin Mashl.
Cremation has taken place at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, Manitowoc. A Life Celebration Social will be held from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
