Obituary

Linda A. Klessig, age 68, a resident of Francis Creek, entered eternal life on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in De Pere.

Linda was born on August 3, 1949 in Two Rivers to Delores (Gagnon) Gallas and the late George Gallas.  She graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers with the class of 1968.  Linda then obtained her degree to become an L.P.N. from Lakeshore Technical Institute.  She had been employed at Two Rivers Community Hospital and later worked as a homecare nurse.  On May 31, 1975, Linda married Paul Klessig in Two Rivers.  She enjoyed spending her time embroidering, reading, gardening, going on bus trips, and spending her time with her family and friends – especially her granddaughters.  Linda had volunteered at T.R.E.P. and was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church where she was previously the religious education coordinator.

Survivors include Linda's husband of 42 years, Paul; three children, Rebecca Klessig and her boyfriend, Tanner Lorenz, Mishicot; Brian Klessig, Peshtigo; and Mark (Heidi) Klessig, Green Bay; three granddaughters, Kristal, Sophie, and Lucy; mother, Delores Gallas, Two Rivers; four siblings, Vicky (Brad) Fouraker, Tampa, FL; Wayne (Barbara) Gallas, Mishicot; Connie (Daniel) Hassmer, Two Rivers; and Mary (Pat) Casey, Crivitz; also other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church 202 South Packer Drive, Francis Creek.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Jeff Briones with burial to take place at Saxon Cemetery.  The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Anne Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.   Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Linda's name.

Linda's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staffs of Bellin's Cardiology Team in Green Bay and Unity Hospice for all the passionate care they provided.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11 th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
