Obituary

Lois Ann Witczak (Age 89) passed away in Green Bay, WI on Tuesday morning on December 23, 2025. She was born on August 5, 1936 in Manitowoc, WI to Felix and Lucille (Klosinski) Witczak. She attended St. Mary's and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953 at age 16.

Lois went to UW Whitewater and graduated as a business teacher. Her first job was at Janesville High. She then went to UW Madison and received her Masters in Guidance. She was a counselor at the University High School until 1964 when the school closed. She then moved to Washington DC and was a guidance counselor at Central High. Later on, she became an Assistant Principal and retired in 1992.

Lois loved to travel and went to China, Egypt, Italy, France, England, Germany. Greece and others. She was involved with HEC (Handicapped Encounter Christ) for many years. She loved the Packers, Badger Sports, and the White Sox. Lois was at the 1967 Ice Bowl with Bob and Cousin Tom. She also attended the Sox Fest in Feb. 2000. Atlanta Olympics and the Super Bowl in New Orleans in 1996.

She is survived by her brother, Bob and his wife, Jane, and their children: Eric (Kelly) -- children Evan, Lauren and Michael; Wendy (Tim) -- children Carson, Macy and Kelton; Amy (Bob -- children Jackson and Miles.  She is also survived by her nephew, Brian Iselin (Christy) -- children Natalie, Landon and Danielle; and other relatives and friends.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister Marilyn and her brother-in-law Ken Walton. She was a special aunt to her 2 nephews and 2 nieces and also to the 11 great nephews and nieces. She was their "Auntie Mame".
