Lori L. Bursek, age 54, a resident of Manitowoc, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 31, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Lori was born on June 11, 1957 in Manitowoc to Arthur Bursek and the late Florence Schultz Bursek. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1975. Lori enjoyed watching "old" TV shows, walking, writing in her journal, and being with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi in Manitowoc.
Survivors include Lori's father: Arthur Bursek, Manitowoc; sister: Lynn (Fred) Reese, Colorado Springs, Colorado; niece: Ursula Reese; nephew: DeRon Reese; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Bursek, on October 17, 2011.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, from 5 PM until 8 PM. A prayer service will be led by Deacon Paul Kieffer at 7:30 PM. The visitation will continue on Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall from 10 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. The Rev. Daniel Felton will officiate with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
