Lorraine J. Kalk, age 81, a resident of Waupaca, Wisconsin, entered eternal life on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca.

Lorraine was born on August 25, 1933 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Otillie Severson Peters. Lorraine was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1951. She had been employed at Holy Family Hospital. On August 4, 1956 she married Marvin O. Kalk in Dubuque, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Marvin; one daughter: Dawn Walters and her significant other, Cal Kliment, Manitowoc; one son: William Kalk, Wautoma; one brother: Robert (Ellen) Peters, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Otillie Peters; one daughter: Susan Kalk; one brother: Norman Kernin; three sisters: June Gribble, Marge Salgado, and Helen LaCrosse.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating. Cremation will follow at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of the cremains at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
