Lorraine H. Vallis, age 89, a resident of Manitowoc, and formerly of Oconomowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.

Lorraine was born on July 10, 1926 in Sun Prairie to the late Sander and Minnie Isaacson Erickson. She graduated from Sun Prairie High School with the class of 1944. On November 4, 1944, Lorraine married Edward C. Vallis, Jr. at First Lutheran Church in North Bristol. Ed preceded her in death on March 15, 1999. She was most recently employed by and retired from Oconomowoc Canning Company. Lorraine enjoyed spending her time playing bridge, watching sports, sewing, knitting, quilting, reading and anything out doors. She was a long-time member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc and a former member of Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Schoolhouse Players.

Survivors include Lorraine's three children: Lisa Peto, Oconomowoc; Sandy (Steve) Sorenson, Waunakee; and Ted (Mary) Vallis III, Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Brian, Eric, Carly, Ben, and Liz; nine great grandchildren; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents: Sander and Minnie Erickson; husband: Ed; two brothers; five sisters, one being her twin; and a son-in-law: Joe Peto.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 145 East Lisbon Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Burial of Lorraine's cremated remains will take place at LaBelle Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
