Lynette “Lynn” L. Grimm, age 81, a Whitelaw resident, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Rivers Bend Health Services, Manitowoc.
She was born November 15, 1944 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Ralph and Elda (Habermann) Zutz. Lynn attended Valders High School. On April 15, 1967 she married Ronald Grimm at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Collins. Lynn was employed at the shoe factory in Valders, then with Shopko in Manitowoc for 29 years until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and crafting, as well as vacationing and going on trips with her family. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers, as well as her children and grandchildren at their many sporting events.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 59 years: Ronald Grimm; their three children: Brian (Stacey) Grimm, Jody (Dale) Carbon, and Julie (Dave) Braun; five grandchildren: Derrick (Katie) Grimm, Peter (Rayven) Grimm, Taylor Elliott (Significant Other Austin Posvic), Carley (Zach) Myers, and Alex Braun; great-grandchildren: Everleigh and Addison Posvic and three more on the way; siblings: Daryle (Nancy) Zutz, Cheryle Jandrey, Jeffrey (Vermae) Zutz, Joyce (Wayne) Draheim, Janice Behnke, Lawrence (Rosemary) Zutz, Lesley (Joan) Zutz, Ralph (Bonnie) Zutz Jr., and Stanley Zutz; sisters-in-law: Fern Wolf, Karen Blish, Helen Grimm; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Elda Zutz; her son: Terry Grimm; one sister: Linda (Jerry) Krepline; brothers-in-law: William “Bill” Jandrey, Ernie Theel, and Tom Behnke; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Reinhardt and Ella (Pautz) Grimm; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Rose (Elmer) Kroening, Ethel (Lester) Pautz, Victor (Verona) Grimm, Lloyd Grimm, Reinhardt (Joan) Grimm, Fritz Grimm, Doris Polzin, and Al Wolf; as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 916 Pine Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Matt Zimpelmann. Lynn will be laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth, at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Immanual Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
