Lynn “Rocky” H. Rockwell, age 77, of Manitowoc, entered eternal life with his family by his side, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Rocky was born September 7, 1948, in Kewaunee, to the late Glenn and Dorothy (Stuebs) Rockwell. On February 26, 1982, Rocky married Julia in Scottsdale, AZ, and they spent 44 years walking together in Faith. Rocky was a mechanical engineer by trade and loved working with his hands. He was a humble man, but was truly intelligent and a jack of all trades. He lived his life devoted to his family and with a deep love for the Lord. His true mission in life was guiding people in the faith and getting them to know Jesus with the same love he did.
Rocky is survived by his loving wife: Julia Rockwell; his children: Scott (Judy) Rockwell, Tammy (Steve) Jacobs, and Amy Boseck; grandchildren: Nathan Rockwell, Emily Rockwell, Blake Rockwell, Brooke Jacobs, Taylor Jacobs, Katie Boseck, and Jacob Boseck; furry children: Sailor and Dixie; siblings: Glenda (Don) Gospodarek and Cindy Jenkins; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter: Jodi Rockwell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Kenneth Taylor. Doors will be open at 10:30 a.m., however no visitation time will be held before the service. A reception for family and friends will be held following the service at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water St., Manitowoc. Rocky will be laid to rest next to his parents at Knollwood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in Rocky’s name.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with arrangements.
