Marcia Drumm, age 74, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Marcia was born on January 18, 1947 in Watertown, SD to the late John and Florence (Steeves) Smith.  She graduated from Watertown South Dakota High School with the class of 1965.  Marcia went on to obtain her degree in Education from the University of North Dakota in 1969.  She then moved to Manitowoc to teach English at Wilson Jr. High School.  On June 27, 1970, Marcia married Gene Drumm.  She taught High School Credit English part time at Lakeshore Technical College for 10 years.  In 1981, Marcia got her Real Estate license and worked as a Real Estate Agent for 10 years.  She received a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from UW Milwaukee in 1992 in order to be a School Counselor which had been her dream of many years.  Marcia retired from the Kiel Area School District in 2012.

Survivors include Marcia's husband, Gene; two children, Carrie (Jeff) Barner, Orlando, FL, and Steven Drumm, Costa Rica; two grandchildren, Luke and Abby Barner; brother-in-law, Robert (Paula) Drumm; sister-in-law, Louise Smith; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Smith; and brother, Steve Smith.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Following the memorial service, a luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the Manitowoc Human Society or to the Salvation Army in Marcia's name.
