Margaret M. Prosser, 79, of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls.

She was born on April 9, 1942 to the late Joseph and Marion (Johanek) Steeber in Manitowoc.  Margaret grew up in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School.  After completing high school, she attended Silver Lake College graduating with a degree in in education.  Margaret taught school at the elementary level at St. Mary's and Holy Innocents in Manitowoc, and St. Michael's in Whitelaw.  She married William Prosser on August 21, 1971 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Margaret was most recently a member of Trinity Alliance Church.  She enjoyed crafting, church activities, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, William Prosser; children, James Prosser (Krista Pfohl) and Barbara (Ben) Krizizke; brothers, James Steeber and Thomas Steeber; sisters, Ann Hooper and Mary Jo Higgins; four grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marion Steeber.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc with Rev. Chad Gouin officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the funeral home.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with entombment at a later date in Knollwood Mausoleum.  Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
