Marian C. Muchowski, age 91, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
Marian was born on June 24, 1924 in Kellnersville to the late Adolph and Anna Cherney Fidler. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1942. On May 10, 1947, Marian was united in marriage to Harold Muchowski at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2000 after 52 years of marriage. Marian had worked at Mirro Aluminum Company, Wisconsin Telephone Company and National Tinsel. She enjoyed spending her time being outdoors, gardening, bowling, playing cards and going to casinos. Marian was an avid quilter and a faithful volunteer at the Manitowoc Senior Center. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Survivors include Marian's son: Michael (Laura) Muchowski, Pewaukee; two grandchildren: Jason Muchowski, Milwaukee; and Sara Muchowski, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia; also other relatives and friends. Marian was preceded in death by her parents: Adolph and Anna Fidler; son: Mitchell; husband: Harold; brother: Ben Fidler; sister: Anita Dempski; brother-in-law: Eugene Muchowski; and sister-in-law: Ruth Bodart.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall – 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. A luncheon will be held for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
