Marian H.
Sepnafski
October 14, 1928 – November 22, 2021
Celebrating the legacy of Marian H. (Goetz) Sepnafski, 93. Marian passed peacefully with family at her side on Monday, November 22, 2021. In 2003, after celebrating 54 years of marriage, Marian was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Sepnafski.
Marian is survived by son Bill Jr. and wife, Ellen; daughter Mary (Leschke) and husband, Roger; daughter Nancy (Kaderabek) and husband, Gary; son Mark and wife, Marla; and daughter Patricia (Martinez) and husband, Dino, along with 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Jan Sepnafski, sister-in-law, also survives Marian.
Marian valued faith, family, and a strong work ethic, and through gracious and enduring example, bestowed these same values to her children. Whether assisting with the family owned Sepnafski's Meat Market, raising a family of five, visiting with grandchildren and great grandchildren, her love and devotion for family was unwavering. Marian also worked as a housekeeper at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center until her retirement at the age of 79. She trained young staff entering the hospital's ranks with great pride and care to ensure the hospital ran smoothly.
She found joy and relaxation in gardening. When Marian was 81, her gardens were featured on the City of Manitowoc's Garden Walk. Her ability to create friends wherever she went was only surpassed by her grace and humility which made people want to be near her.
A special thanks is extended from the family to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Froedtert Neuro-Surgical Unit, and Aurora Medical Center for their excellent care of Marian.
Marian will be laid to rest next to her husband Bill at Calvary Mausoleum following private family services which will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family will make contributions on Marian's behalf to Froedtert Neuro-Surgical Unit, Milwaukee, WI, the Roncalli Elementary School Building Fund, or the Calvary Mausoleum.
