Marie A. Lasee, age 88, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Friday, March 22, 2024 at her residence.

Marie was born February 6, 1936 in Reedsville, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Steve and Anna (Svatek) Foreyt. She attended Reedsville High School, graduating with the class of 1954. Marie married Donald Radey on September 8, 1956 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Reedsville. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1957. She married LeRoy F. Lasee on May 2, 1964 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2016. Marie worked as a waitress at Stock's Supper Club for 28 years. She loved baking and taking trips to the casino in her younger years.

Marie is survived by three daughters: Sherri (Michael) Jankovich, DePere, Kim (Aaron) Kaplan, Frisco, TX, and Donna (Barry) Emmer, Reedsville; grandchildren: Dana (Alex) Ricker, Alex Jankovich, Paulina Guerra, Diego Guerra, Derek Guerra, Max Kaplan, Amy Jo Emmer, Matthew Emmer, and Kimberly (Leon) Guthrie; great-grandchildren: Isabella and Sam Conant, Max and Lauren Emmer, and Ethan, Gabrielle, and Karolina Guthrie; three siblings: Emily Ruether, Adeline Sauer, and Francis (Joyce) Foreyt; two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Foreyt and Doris Graff; her goddaughter: Mary Cherney; and a very special neighbor and friend: Mary Ann Bienvenue. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years: LeRoy Lasee; her first husband: Donald Radey; siblings: Eleanor (George) Jung, Helen (Vint) Samz, and Paul Foreyt; two brothers-in-law: Russell Ruether and James Sauer; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Sylvester and Elsie Lasee; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ray (Lois) Lasee, Bob Lasee, Maxine (Russ) VanPieterson, and Allen Graff; Godson: Brian Ruether; as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Jason Blahnik. The Mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed by visiting https://www.facebook.com/harriganparkside/ .  Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. Following the services, a luncheon will be held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
