Marie A. Sweetman, age 76, of Kissimmee, Florida, entered eternal life Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Osceola Regional Medical Center, Kissimmee, Florida.

Marie was born on January 9, 1936 in Mishicot, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Gordon Ertman. Marie was a graduate of Mishicot High School. After raising her three children Marie continued her education graduating from Lakeland College where she received her bachelor's degree. Marie enjoyed traveling and spending time in Jamaica. She was an avid reader and loved to write poetry. Marie also enjoyed watching basketball and faithfully followed the Miami Heat basketball team.

She is survived by her three children: Yvonne (Michael) Dahl, Weston, CT; William (Lynn) Sweetman, Ocoee, FL; David Sweetman, Manitowoc, WI; 2 grandchildren: Stephanie (Tanner) Roe; Jessica (Alex) Clairmont; two great grandchildren: Parker Roe and Kathlynn Clairmont; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Mary Ertman.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 502 North 8th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Matthew Sauer with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at 1:00.
