Mark Kevin Skees, age 64, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.

Mark was born on May 15, 1956 in Sturgeon Bay to the late Gerald and Betty (King) Skees.  He graduated from high school in South Bend, IN with the class of 1974.  He had worked Santa's Best from 1978 through 2012.  Mark was an enthusiast of classic cars and vintage Hollywood movies – especially Mae West.

Survivors include Mark's longtime partner, Erik Hilke, Manitowoc; two brothers, Todd Michael Skees, Chicago, IL; and Scott David Skees, Kalamazoo, MI; aunt, Janice King; also cousins, other relatives and friends.  Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Betty Skees; and uncle, Bob King.

In respect with Mark's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
