Obituary

Mark G. Zeer, age 63, a Manitowoc resident, died Sunday evening, August 12, 2018 at his residence.
He was born on January 25, 1955 in West Allis, son of Joycelyn and the late Harvey Zeer. Mark was a graduate of West Allis High School with the class of 1973. Mark was employed in many areas throughout his career until his health forced him to retire. On October 5, 2012 he married Jean Luchsinger in Port Washington. He liked hunting, woodworking, reading and cooking. Mark enjoyed fishing on Gass Lake with his wife Jean. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. Mark loved his cat Tiger (Teeger).
Survivors include his wife: Jean, Manitowoc; two step-children: Devin Croatt, Hartford and Sheena Croatt, Greenfield; his mother: Joyce Stahl, Waterford; mother-in-law: Joan Luchsinger, Manitowoc; one sister: Jo (Jon) Rasmussen, one brother: Karl (Terri) Zeer, Greenfield; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bonita (Glenn) Skattebo, Brown Deer, Paul (Anita) Luchsinger, Arkansas, Peter (Patricia) Luchsinger, Algonquin, IL, Robert Luchsinger, James (Doris) Luchsinger, (Glenn) Maki, Wendy (David) Zunker, all of Manitowoc, Therese (Mark) Lodge, Toledo, OH, Joanna Luchsinger, Milwaukee, Andrew (Cindy) Luchsinger, Manitowoc, Joseph (Sara) Luchsinger, Oshkosh, Sara (Allan) Qualman, Manitowoc; and two nieces: Dina Zeer and Andrea Rice; one great niece: Evie Jo Rice. Many other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Harvey Zeer and one sister-in-law: Anne Maki.
Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Private family services will be held at the Berean Baptist Church in Manitowoc. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
