Mary Ann D. Lipski, age 82, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
She was born October 26, 1942 in the Town of Meeme, daughter of the late Arno and Helen (Roitt) Schneider. Mary Ann attended Valders high school, graduating with the class of 1960. On January 18, 1964 she married Anthony "Tony" Lipski at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mary Ann was employed with Paragon in her younger years, then was employed with Copp's Food Center, Manitowoc, until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, and baking as well as cheering on the Packers and Brewers. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband: Tony Lipski; her four children: David (Michele) Lipski, Scott (Shari) Lipski, Kevin Lipski, and Kelly (Oscar) Dogan; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two siblings: Dorothy Kutz and Betty (Donald) Wallander; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Mary Ann (Warren) Place, Mike Slattery, and Shirley Schneider; and a special friend: Amy Rappel. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Morgan Lipski; her parents: Arno and Helen Schneider; and her siblings: Francis Schneider, Norman (Rosie) Schneider, Sylvester (Arlene) Schneider, Larry Schneider, and Agnes (Mark) Pupeter; as well as other relatives and friends.
Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Matt Colle. Mary Ann will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth, at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc.
