Obituary

Mary T. Siewert of Valders, entered eternal life early Monday morning, March 30, 2026, at her residence with family by her side.

Mary, the "Little White Tornado" was born June 10, 1940 at home in Two Rivers.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sylvia Stehlik Baumgart.  At the age of 8 years she moved with her parents from Two Rivers to a farm in Mishicot attending grade school at Holy Cross and then a one room school house down the road.  In 1958 she graduated from Mishicot High School.  In December 1975 she married Michael Siewert. Mary and her husband ran Dyna Kleen Service, Mike's Garage and in 1978 they moved the family to Valders and opened Mike's Garage in Valders operating the business until 1982. Mary and Mike then they ran school buses for several companies eventually buying Valders school buses in 1997.  In 1999 they added Sunset Tours which they ran until 2020.  Mary enjoyed traveling, camping, bird watching, following the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, NASCAR, gardening, interior decorating, reading and doing crafts.  She also enjoyed family gatherings, helping raise her grandchildren and later enjoyed attending their sporting events.  Mary always saw to it that no one ever left her home hungry.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Michael, her children and their families, Steve (Anna) Zucchi, Odell, IL and their children, Ashley and Tiffany; Sue (Len) Behnke, Reedsville, and their children, Josh, Matt (Samantha), Traci (Deidre), and Zach (Tawni); Shawn (Angie) Zucchi, Reedsville, and their children, Matthew (Stenisha), Branden (Ashley), and Morgan; Scott (Nicky) Zucchi, Reedsville, and their children, Taylor (Coleton) and Anthony (Livvie); 11 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and one great  grandchild expected to arrive in October 2026.; one sister, Jean Zahorik, Two Rivers; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law:  Wayne and Chris Siewert, Elkhorn, Debbie Geisler, Menomonee Falls, Mary and Jerry Koenig, Reedsville; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends surviving including her special cat Puff Puff and grand dog Mason.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sylvia Baumgart; brother, Robert "Butch" Baumgart who was killed in Vietnam May 1968; two sisters, Edna (Allen) Hutterer and Katy (Merlin) Jacquart; two brothers-in-law, Bradley Geisler and Alvin Zahorik; and one sister-in-law,  Mary Lynn Martell.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Faith Lutheran Church, 255 West Roosevelt Street, Valders.  Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Lyman.  Burial will follow at the Valders West Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial to Faith Lutheran Church or the Valders Ambulance Service. The family would like to convey a special thank you to the Valders Ambulance service, Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital therapists and medical staff, and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
