Obituary

Mary Lou Thompson, age 64, passed away on January 12, 2022 at her residence in Whitelaw, Wisconsin in the presence of her loving family.

Mary Lou was born on March 10, 1957 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to the late Norman Frank and the late Marion (Baroun) Frank. She graduated from Reedsville High School Class of 1975. On October 22, 1982 Mary Lou and Jeffry Thompson were married at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc.

Mary Lou's working career included work at Mirro Aluminum, Dick's Nursery, Branch Cheese and Northern Labs, where she was a fork-lift operator. She retired from Northern Labs in May of 2019.

Mary Lou enjoyed staying home and baking, watching Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger Games. She especially enjoyed her time with her family and her two grandchildren cooking in the kitchen.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffry, sons, Jason (Tarah) Thompson of Janesville, WI and Jeremy (Callie) Thompson of Forest Junction, grandchildren, Brody and Tatum Thompson, brothers, Dale "Butch" Frank of Valders, WI , Randy (Michelle) Frank of Reedsville, WI, sisters, Lynn(Roger) Kvitek of Maribel, WI, Tracy (Joe) Mangin of Whitelaw, WI, LuAnn (Don) Groh of Two Rivers. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Marion Frank, as well as a brother, David Frank.

A Life Celebration Social for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 with Memorial Service at 1 pm, at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
