Merry Ellen
Marciniak
December 1, 1954 – November 18, 2020
Merry E. Marciniak, 65, of Manitowoc, WI passed away Wednesday morning, November 18, 2020 in her home.
Born December 1, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI. Merry was the daughter of the late Geraldine (Geri) Czerwinski (Brandt) and Herman Lederhaus.
She is survived by her partner of 33 years; Thomas Beyer and her 2 fur babies Maggie and Molly, her 4 children, Victoria (Jim) Ellenberger of Cedarburg, Ann (Shannon) Moody of Sheboygan, Meree (John) Vargo of Germantown, MD and Richard Marciniak (Amber Fiene) of Sheboygan; and her 9 grandchildren Kandis Ellenberger, Jordan Merz, Tiler Ellenberger, Jacob Roman, Elijah Vargo, Isabel Marciniak, Noah Vargo, Samuel Vargo, and Logan Marciniak, as well as one great grandson, Liam Ellenberger. She is also survived by her siblings Bonnie (Ray) Phillips of Escanaba MI, Gordon (Joann) Lederhaus of Oconto Falls, Marvin Czerwinski of Wausau, Jennifer Czerwinski of Stevens Point, Kathy (Tom) Rhyner of Yorkville, IL.
Merry was preceded in death by her parents and two of her brothers; Steven Czerwinski and Donald Lederhaus.
Merry loved listening and singing to music, reading, writing short novels, sewing, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed crafting, from her small crocheted octopus' to her king size quilts and everything in-between. If you were lucky enough to be a recipient of one of her famous quilts or knitted sweaters you know that love was poured in during its creation
Merry had the biggest heart. She gave everything to anyone in need, even her last dollar if it was needed. There was always a place to stay with a warm blanket and a hot meal. Merry had many "adopted" children in her lifetime, most recently, Cyd, Kyle, Grant and Richard. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Merry loved life and everything in it, she truly stopped to smell the roses on her journey. She showed everyone unconditional love, always. She loved to be silly and laugh. I'm sure we can all still hear her say "You know I love you, if I pick on you". She collected Coca Cola items (and there was a lot).
Merry will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park (located at 13235 W Capitol Drive in Brookfield, WI 53005). There will be a memorial service on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 1pm (visitation) and 1:30pm for her service in the Chapel of the Chimes. A private family graveside service will take place at later date.
Thank you to everyone who helped Merry make it to her final journey. May she rest in peace.
