Michael R. Baeckmann, age 54, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023.

He was born April 1, 1968 in Manitowoc, son of Patricia Ann Crass and the late Roger W. Baeckmann. Mike was the proud owner of Hi-Rise Painting of Milwaukee and worked as a professional painter. He enjoyed golfing, playing pool, traveling and gambling, especially poker. Mike loved music, and was a great drummer. He also loved sports, especially watching the Packers and Brewers.

Mike was survived by his mother: Patricia Ann Crass; his siblings: Bonnie (Andy) Anderson, Laura Baeckmann Wanek, Tanya Koeppe, Kathy (Guy) Stolberg, Chris (Fred) Dunstun, Rick (Bridget) Baeckmann, James (Claudia) Ray, and Robbie (Beth) Ray; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Roger, and one brother: Alfred Joseph Ray.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, are assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
