Nancy G. Berge, age 67, a resident of 22610 Boot Lake Road, Reedsville, entered into eternal life on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at her residence.

Nancy was born on April 29, 1943 in Manitowoc to the late Silas and Grace Franke Pierce. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1961. On June 9, 1961, Nancy married Ralph K. Berge. Nancy and Ralph had operated the family farm from 1972 to 1988. She then went on to work at Sargento Foods in Kiel until her retirement in 2007. Nancy enjoyed playing piano and singing for her church family. She also enjoyed gardening – especially her beautiful shade garden that she shared with her family and friends. Nancy was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ralph; four children: Tracy Darling, Shady Cove, OR; Ralph (Patricia) Berge, Jr., Burbank, CA; Sally (Brad) Peck, Whitelaw; and Jenny Berge Flores, Whitelaw; 11 grandchildren: Hannah, Colin, Francisco, David, Diego, Michael, Anthony, Caleb, Grace, Ashley, and Isabella; also other relatives and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Allan; and one sister: Jane.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Faith United Methodist Church, 204 Horn Street, Brillion from 4pm until 8 pm. The visitation will continue at Faith United Methodist Church on Friday from 10 am until the time of the memorial service at 11 am. Rev. Susan Safford-Gaul will officiate.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the choir of Faith United Methodist Church.
