Patrick J. Finnell, age 66, a Manitowoc resident entered eternal life on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Patrick was born on January 28, 1950 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Sylvester and Margaret Hammel Finnel. Patrick was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1969. After high school Patrick entered the United States Air Force serving his country from 1969 until his honorable discharge in 1974. He had been employed in machine maintenance with several manufacturers in Manitowoc. Patrick enjoyed working on small engines, playing sheepshead along with hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two children: Jennifer Pribyl, Two Rivers; Scott Finnell and his finance' Amber Van Ess, Two Rivers; four grandchildren: Dezarae, Hayden, Selena, and Alaynna; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Sylvester and Margaret Finnel; one daughter: Andrea; and one brother: Paul.

A private gathering with memorial services was held on Friday afternoon, May 13, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Deacon Alan Boeldt officiating. Military rites were accorded at the funeral home by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto Oas Post #659 following the services. Patrick's cremated remains were laid to rest at Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and chapel.
