Paul F. Bienvenue, age 80, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Monday, February 8, 2016 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison.

Paul was born on October 22, 1935 in Somerset, MA to the late Aurele and Irene Curt Bienvenue. On November 30, 1953, Paul enlisted with the United States Marine Corps. He had served in the Korean War, achieved the rank of Sergeant by the time of his honorable discharge on November 29, 1957, and then remained with the Unites States Marine Corps Reserves until December of 1960. On April 20, 1990, Paul married Mary Ann Greuel in Manitowoc. He was employed at Manitowoc Engineering as Materials Manager from 1980 and left in 1992 as Operations Manager. Paul then furthered his career at Pentek Corporation in Indianapolis, IN as VP of Operations until his retirement in 2000. He was a member American Legion Post 88 and St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

Survivors include Paul's wife: Mary Ann, Manitowoc; daughter: Kristin Bienvenue, Surprise, AZ; two stepdaughters: Christina Greuel, Manitowoc; and Rhonda (Scott) Toston, Alpharetta, GA; stepson: Bryan Greuel, Denver, CO; six grandchildren: Miranda, Cole, Brittni, Alex, Justine, and Abby; two sisters: Jeanne Sunderland, Bonita Springs, FL; and Claire Delekta, Warren, RI; brother: David (Betsy) Bienvenue, Westport Point, MA; also other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating. Military rites will then be accorded by Drews-Bleser American Legion Post 88 which will then be followed by a dinner at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
