Paul R. Meyer, age 73, a Green Bay resident, passed away Thursday evening, January 26, 2023 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.

He was born February 28, 1949 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, son of the late Raymond and Marion (Ryan) Meyer. Paul attended Green Bay East High School, graduating with the class of 1968. He enlisted in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Perry. Paul was employed as a union heat and frost insulator at Point Beach Nuclear Plant for many years. He was passionate about animals and was an avid supporter of the humane society. He also loved cars and collecting things. Paul was very artistic, and enjoyed doing wood burning projects. He was also passionate about his yard, always keeping a well-manicured lawn. Above all, Paul loved spending time with his family and many close friends.

Paul is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Steve and Amy Meyer; one granddaughter: Lilly Meyer; his sister: Amy Williquette; and his brother-in-law: Brad Ottum. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister: Connie Ottum; and his brother: Steven Meyer.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory of Manitowoc, and a celebration of Paul's life will be held at a later date.
