Peter E. Pleuss, age 65, a resident of Crivitz, and formerly of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV.

Pete was born on August 20, 1950 in Manitowoc to the late Frederick and Josephine Kelsey Pleuss. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1968. Pete then went on to complete his education by obtaining his Bachelors degree from UW Madison. He enlisted with the United States Army and served his country until his honorable discharge. Pete had worked as a sales representative for Mueller Foods, Sysco Foods and Kraft Foods. After retiring from that industry, he enjoyed working as a tour bus driver. Pete enjoyed spending his time reading, hiking, and being outdoors.

Survivors include Pete's sister: Cindy Perrigoue, Crivitz; two nieces: Trisha (Joe) Mrotek and Tammy (P.J.) Luedtke, all of Manitowoc; three nephews: Lynn (Deb) Pleuss, Madison; Harold (Rhonda) Pleuss, Fond du Lac; and Joe Pleuss, Madison; sister-in-law: Mary Jo Pleuss, Fond du Lac; also other relatives and friends. Pete was preceded in death by his parents Fritz and Jo Pleuss; two brothers and sister-in-law: Lynn "Butch" Pleuss and Terry (Carmen Lesperance) Pleuss; and brother-in-law: Mike Perrigoue.

In respect with Pete's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial of Pete's cremated remains will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
