Phillis J. Cummings, age 101, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Harbor View Assisted Living facility.

Phillis was born on December 27, 1921 in Antigo.  She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth Bentley Dallman.  Phillis attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1940.  She was married to Bernard Cummings who preceded her in death on March 27, 1982.  Phillis was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her son, David Cummings, Anchorage, Alaska, daughter, Christine (Norris Wayne) Bass, Sarasota, Florida, three grandchildren, Samuel, Daniel, and Christina and nine great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ruth Dallman, husband, Bernard, and brother, Lee Dallman.

The family is planning a celebration of Phillis' life at a later date.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
