Ralph W. Huletz, age 81, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010 at his residence following a short illness.
Ralph was born on November 18, 1928 in Melnik to the late William and Libby Kreschek Huletz. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1946. Ralph was employed at the Manitowoc Company as a machinist. He had many hobbies and interests over his lifetime. Ralph had a passion for reading, sailing, golfing, fishing, gardening, and tinkering around his house in Manitowoc and cottage in Door County.
Survivors include his children: Judy (Dennis) Schwanke, Manitowoc; Jill (Jim) Perozzo, Chicago; Susan Huletz-Collard, Shawno; and Andy (Vicky) Huletz, Manitowoc; one step daughter: Rikki (Dan) Howard; four grandchildren: Justin (Gretchen) Huletz, Kylie Anhalt, Jason Schwanke, and Allison Collard; one great granddaughter: Madison Trainor; also friends and his loving dogs: Askher and Shadow. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marilyn Grainger-Huletz; and one son, Jeffrey.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 5 pm to 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent to the Lakeshore Humane Society.
