Rene L. Felber, age43, a resident of Whitelaw, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Rene was born on December 27, 1975 in Manitowoc to Scott and Deborah Kallies Gilbert. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1994. On May 24, 2003, Rene married Todd Felber at Seven Lakes. She had began working for her grandparents in the family business at Gilbert's Bakery, and most recently was employed at GKN Sinter Metals in Manitowoc. Rene was a sports nut and enjoyed going to Brewers and Packer games. She enjoyed being outdoors, swimming, walking, going to concerts and trips to Mexico, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include Rene's husband, Todd; son, Chris Felber, Whitelaw; stepdaughter, Emmalee Schroeder, Milwaukee; mother, Debi Schulz, Two Rivers; father, Scott (Julie) Gilbert, Manitowoc; five siblings, Justin (Sarah) Pasek, Derrick Pasek and Anna, Chelsea (Aaron) Duszynski, Kaleena Meachum Gilbert, and Tyler Gilbert; father-in-law, Bill (Carol) Felber, Florida; mother-in-law, Lori (Ron) Olsen, Pardeeville; two brothers-in-law, Randy (Donna) Felber, Pewaukee; and Derek Felber and Pamela; Manitowoc; also other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Hope Community Church, 4408 County Road B, Manitowoc with Pastor Jed Manders officiating. Cremation has taken place at Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at Hope Community Church on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Rene's name.
Rene's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff of all the Aurora Medical Centers and St. Vincent's Hospital for all the care they provided.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11 th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
