Ricky S. Carroll, age 67, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away at home with family by his side on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Ricky was born on December 21, 1958 in Calhoun, MS to the late Woodrow and Elnora (Mays) Carroll. After graduating high school in Mississippi, Ricky went on to obtain his culinary certification. He worked at various restaurants until he found the job he loved as a landscaper. After being together for nine years, on July 2, 2009, Ricky married Desiree DeWindt in Manitowoc. He was the most amazing father and husband, and had the biggest heart a person could ever have. Rick fought multiple cancers throughout the last 14 years. He was so strong and brave, and was loved by everyone. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and liked spending his time fishing, cooking, and watching scary movie. Above all, Ricky enjoyed being with his family and children.

Survivors include Rick’s wife, Desiree, and their two beautiful children, Annastasia Carroll and Ricky Carroll Jr.; four older children, Antonio (Adrian) Booker, Marcus Booker, Sherika Booker, Anthony Martinez; and Anthony Booker; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; seven sisters, Martha McShane, Brenda Carroll, Dorothy Jackson, Hattie (Jame) Elderson, Mary Carroll, Rosie Sumlin, and Pumpkin (Cornelius) McShane; two brothers, Michael Carroll and Gerry Carroll; many special nieces who will never know how much each one of them meant to Ricky in their own special ways; along with nephews, other relatives and friends. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Elnora Carroll; son, Christian M. Carroll; four brothers, Terry (Annie B) Carroll, James, Sam and Thomas; sister, Viola; mother-in-law, Jayne Russell; sister-in-law, Camylle DeWindt; along with many other loved ones.
