Obituary

Robert J. Ellerman, age 80, a resident of the Santa Maria Nursing Home, Green Bay, entered eternal life on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the nursing home.

Bob was born on May 26, 1935 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Edward and Mary Herzog Ellerman. Bob attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1954. He was employed as a supervisor at Dick Brothers Bakery and retired in 1998 from Metz Bakery in Madison. During his years of employment he attended and graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course. Bob was a member of Van's Athletic Club and the Bakery Confectionery and Tobacco Workers local union. For many years Bob wintered in Florida with friends. He enjoyed spending time in Door County at his cottage with family, fishing, hunting, and watching his favorite sports.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: David and Diane Ellerman, Bellevue; Steve and Carol Ellerman, Cottage Grove; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Mary Ellerman.

With respect to Bob's wishes there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. A private family graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
