Robert G. Schuette, age 75, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life while surrounded by his loving family at his home on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Bob was born on July 22, 1950 in Manitowoc to the late Erwin Sr. and Josephine Graczykowski Schuette. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1969. On April 17, 1971, Bob married Clare M. Junk at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Alverno. He was employed at Northern Labs for 33 years. Bob enjoyed wood crafting, camping, backyard bonfires, hunting, taking drives along Lake Michigan, and spending time with his family and friends – especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Survivors include Bob’s wife of 55 years, Clare; two children, Sara (Jeff Mancheski) Schuette, Francis Creek; and Matthew (Tonya) Schuette, Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Zackery (Lily) Schuette, Olivia Mancheski, and Cassandra Mancheski; great granddaughter, Sophia; and one great grandson on the way, Hudson Robert Schuette; two brothers, James Schuette and Greg (Jane) Schuette; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin Sr. and Josephine Schuette; nine siblings, Nancy Lee, June Anthony, Mary Hebert, JoAnn Thom, Karen Tuschl, Jacqueline Schroeder, Erwin Schuette Jr., Jerome Schuette, and Guy Schuette; and son, Rob Schuette.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Colie Bettivia officiating. A meal for family and friends will then follow at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
